Questions people ask

Before you hit record

What does Eloqua actually do?

You record a real conversation or a solo practice, and it hands back an honest, timestamped report: where you rambled, hedged, or talked over someone, and a clearer way to say what you meant. Think of it as a coach who was actually listening.

Do I need perfect English to use it?

No. Most people here are already fluent enough to work in English but want to sound as sharp as they think. You practice at your own pace, on the words and moments you care about.

Is it okay to record other people?

Only record yourself, or conversations where everyone agreed. In places with two-party-consent laws, ask first. When you practice with a partner inside Eloqua, both of you consent from the start, and each person is only coached on their own speech.

What do I get after a session?

Rewrites of your own sentences, your pace and filler numbers, six honest scores, a read on how you listened and connected, and a word and phrase of the day built around what you're working on.

Who can hear my recordings?

Nobody. Your recordings and reports are yours. If you practice with a partner, they only ever see their own coaching, never your reports or your audio.

Do I need a partner to start?

No. Practice solo, or warm up with your coach. When you're ready, match with a real person and Eloqua coaches those conversations too.

Is it free?

You can start for free. Pro unlocks unlimited coaching and your full history, so you can watch yourself get better over time.
